Picture book writers: Please send the full text of your picture book, rather than the standard "first three chapters."
I try to read everything.
I vastly prefer electronic submissions.
If you haven't heard from me within six weeks of submission, you should make the assumption that I am declining, or have simply missed the boat on your work.
I wish I could respond to every submission I receive. I know how hard it is to get those words on a page.
